The book
You don’t rise to the level of the opportunity. You rise to the level of your preparation.
Interview Like an Olympian™ takes the mental models of elite athletic performance, preparation, mindset, storytelling, resilience, and strategic positioning and applies them to one of the highest-pressure moments in your career: the interview.
You aren’t simply preparing to answer questions.
You’re preparing to compete for your next chapter.
From idea → book → body of work

Why this book
The competition has changed.
Credentials get you into the race. Preparation changes how you run it.
The modern job market rewards more than experience.
You need to know how to communicate your value.
How to tell the story of what you’ve done.
How to walk into high-stakes moments without shrinking.
How to distinguish yourself when everyone appears qualified on paper.
And how to recover, adapt, and compete again when the career landscape changes.
Olympians train for moments most people only react to.
Your career deserves the same level of preparation.

Origin story
Before there was a book, there was an athlete.
I never became an Olympian. But the pursuit changed the way I approached everything that came after.

I grew up imagining the Olympic podium and a Wheaties box. I became a Division I NCAA athlete, but I never reached that original Olympic dream.
What stayed with me were the disciplines underneath it: preparation, resilience, repetition, self-belief, and the ability to perform when the moment mattered.
I carried those lessons into my professional life, through career transitions and into technology. Eventually, I realized that careers have arenas, too.
The interview room is one of them.
And too many talented people walk into that arena relying on talent instead of training.
Interview Like an Olympian™ is the playbook I wish more of us had before the opportunity arrived.
